Hallucinating art. What does Artificial Intelligence teach us about aesthetic experience?
@COMORE – Responsability Matters Workshop
I aim at exploring the intersection between artificial intelligence and aesthetic experience, particularly focusing on the concept of “Hallucinating art.” With the advancement of AI technologies, there has been a notable shift in how we perceive and create art. AI systems are now capable of generating artworks that challenge traditional notions of creativity and aesthetics.
By analyzing the output of AI-generated art, we can gain valuable insights into the nature of aesthetic experience. How do these artworks evoke emotions and responses from viewers? What does the process of creating art through AI tell us about the boundaries of human creativity? Can AI truly replicate or enhance aesthetic experiences traditionally associated with human artistry?
Through a combination of theoretical discourse and practical examples, this abstract aims to explore the implications of AI-generated art on our understanding of aesthetics. By examining the role of AI in art, we can uncover new perspectives on the relationship between technology, creativity, and the human experience.
